While Walgreens acknowledged it intended to seek certification to sell the abortion drug mifepristone, the retail pharmacy giant suggested it would stop short in states where pro-life laws forbid such sales. A federal court determined that a network of New York-based pregnancy centers can proceed with challenging a law that the organization said forces pro-life or religious groups to hire employees who have had abortions or hold views contrary to their mission. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City reversed a lower court's decision to dismiss a January 2020 civil suit brought by the Evergreen Association. A group of pro-life doctors were recently barred from an annual OB-GYN conference, told upon arrival that the exhibit spot they'd booked a year in advance had been inexplicably canceled. Now, Republican lawmakers are calling out the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (AGOG). A Montana judge recently expanded abortion access to minors by halting a law that required parental consent for individuals 16 and under to have an abortion.  "Pro-abortion forces are running wild in Montana, with a judge even mandating that young girls can obtain abortions without parental consent," said Lila Rose, president of Live Action. A Madison man was arrested in Boston Tuesday on charges connected to the firebombing of a Madison anti-abortion office building in May of 2022. Hridndu Sankar Roychowdhury, 29, is charged with one count of attempting to cause damage by means of fire or an explosive, according to court documents. Early in the morning of May 8, 2022, two Molotov cocktails were thrown into the Wisconsin Family Action building, Madison Police stated. Read more......

Idaho lawmakers are considering making it illegal for an adult to help a minor procure an abortion without parental consent. The measure would create a new crime of "abortion trafficking," barring adults from obtaining abortion pills for a minor and "recruiting, harboring, or transporting the pregnant minor." To sidestep violating a constitutional right to travel between states, the state law would make illegal only the portion of a trip to an out-of-state abortion provider that takes place in Idaho.
