Supreme Court Lets Rulings Against Pro-Life Activists Stand

The United States Supreme Court has refused to hear the appeals of multiple pro-life activists who are facing heavy fines for releasing undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood employees discussing the harvesting of baby body parts for profit. The refusal to hear the appeals allows earlier court rulings against the pro-life activists to stand, which could result in the activists being forced to pay millions of dollars in damages. Wisconsin Pro-Life Group Targets Doctors' Licenses

After being rebuffed by local law enforcement, an official with one of Wisconsin's largest pro-life groups has filed complaints with the state's licensing agency against doctors who provide abortions in the weeks after Planned Parenthood resumed those services. The move comes as advocates on both sides disagree over whether abortion is currently legal in Wisconsin, following a July court order signaling a Dane County judge believes an 1849 law that has been interpreted as a near-total ban on abortion does not, in fact, ban consensual abortions. Firebombed Pro-Life Pregnancy Center Files FACE Act Lawsuit

A New York pro-life pregnancy center that was seriously damaged in an arson attack in June 2022 and was subsequently vandalized again with pro-abortion graffiti in March, has filed a federal lawsuit against two "known pro-abortion activists." Two unnamed defendants are included in the Oct. 5 lawsuit and referred to as John Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 because authorities have yet to publicly identify the suspects. The suit alleges they were involved in the arson attack last year. Read more......

Wounded Women: The Consequences of 'Choice'

Evidence undermines the pro-abortion utilitarian’s claim that abortion benefits women overall, increasing their happiness and well-being. On the contrary, abortion often results in physical complications (especially following medically unsupervised chemical abortion), mental health complications, future pregnancy complications, and the tragic loss of a child most women would have preferred to give birth to had they not been pressured, coerced, or lacked the support necessary to follow through with the pregnancy. It should also be noted that there is some evidence, particularly from Eastern Europe, that when abortion restrictions are enacted promiscuous behavior declines, effective...

Ohio Pro-Lifers Confront Abortion Radicalism

One record looms large for Ohio pro-life activists: oh-and-six. That figure represents the fate of their cause in voter-decided state ballot initiatives since the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade in June 2022. It includes both failed pro-life initiatives and, as in neighboring Michigan, successful pro-abortion ones. As Ohio prepares to vote this November on Issue 1, a pro-abortion constitutional-amendment initiative, that oh-for-six record underscores the challenge pro-lifers face. They are up against a well-resourced pro-amendment campaign. Read more......

Pro-Life Group Sues San Antonio Over 'Reproductive Justice Fund'

A number of pro-life organizations have filed a lawsuit against the City of San Antonio for a recent city council decision to create a fund that will assist women with getting abortions out of state. San Antonio Family Association and Texas Right to Life are among several suing the city for the creation of the "Reproductive Justice Fund," by allocating $500,000 in its budget. And those funds could be used for services including STI testing, birth control, diapers, and, potentially, paying for lodging and travel out of state to get an abortion. Read more...  ...

Nurses Sue Colorado to Continue Abortion-Reversal Ministry

A mother-daughter duo of Catholic nurses and founders of a nonprofit health organization are suing the state of Colorado to be allowed to continue their ministry helping women reverse unwanted chemical abortions. Dede Chism and Abby Sinnett, who run the Denver-area Bella Health and Wellness, are arguing that a new Colorado law banning abortion pill reversal impedes the First Amendment rights of their clients and their medical practice. The Pro-Life Movement's Achilles' Heel

The state-level battles over abortion are exposing what decades of a widespread contraceptive mentality has done to the spiritual state of our nation. Our collective conscience, even that of many socially conservative and religious people, has been dulled to the point of accepting abortion as a necessary evil. This situation should serve as a wake-up call to those who desire to protect the dignity of all human life. Read more......

Federal Court Lifts Colorado Ban On Abortion Pill Reversals

A federal court in Colorado ruled in favor of a Catholic health care clinic, Bella Health and Wellness, to allow to them to continue offering abortion pill reversal services. This ruling in Bella Health and Wellness v. Weiser comes after Colorado passed legislation “making it unprofessional conduct to offer women progesterone when seeking to reverse the effects of the first abortion pill.” Bella asked for this law that prevented this treatment for women and their preborn children to be blocked, and the law was put on hold from going into effect “until three state boards weighed in on the safety of abortion pill reversal.” Read more......
