Abortion Activists Who Terrorized Pro-Lifers Get Community Service

Pro-abortion activists who were arrested after terrorizing attendees and speakers at a pro-life event will not face jail time or have a criminal record but will have to perform community service. Students for Life president Kristan Hawkins and Turning Point USA contributor Isabel Brown were at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) on a scheduled stop of the organization’s “Lies Pro-Choicers Believe” tour. Hawkins kept her camera rolling on Instagram Live as protests broke out and pro-abortion activists chanted, “F**k Pro-lifers” and “Fascists Go Home.” SFLA said the protestors used their signs to physically assault individuals who were present. Appeals Court Blocks Biden's Emergency Abortion Guidelines

The anti-abortion physicians group that sued the Biden administration over abortion restrictions in Texas praised a ruling from the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit that found that federal regulations do not grant an absolute right to abortion. In July 2022, the Biden administration issued new guidance interpreting the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act, or EMTALA, to allow for induced abortions to stabilize a patient when necessary in an emergency situation regardless of state law banning elective abortions. The Pro-Life Movement's Unfinished Business

Charities Deemed Not 'Worthy of Support From Pro-Lifers'

A pro-life advocacy organization claims that more than two dozen charities, including Christian organizations, have ties to or supported pro-abortion and LGBT advocacy. The American Life League recently updated its "Charity Watchlist," placing charitable organizations into three categories based on their level of support for what the pro-life advocacy group describes as "life issues." Two-Thirds of Americans Support Some Abortion Restrictions

About two-thirds of Americans support some level of government restrictions on abortion, according to a recent poll released by the Knights of Columbus. The poll, which the Knights conducted with Marist Institute for Public Opinion at Marist College, found that 66% of Americans believe that "limits should be placed on when abortion is allowed" and only 33% believe that "abortion should be allowed without any limits" when given the two options.
