Melinda Gates, a Catholic, to Give Millions to Fund Abortion

Melinda Gates’ high-dollar funding of abortion throughout the world offers what pro-life leaders say is a “grim reminder” of what pro-life advocates are up against in their fight for the unborn. Gates, who has written fondly about her Catholic upbringing, said last week she is giving multimillion-dollar donations to abortion-supporting groups. Among the richest people in the world, she reportedly has a net worth of about $11 billion. Read more......

The Abortion Industry Owes Its Success to Feminism

The sexual revolution is generally targeted as abortion’s source. While it played a huge role in abortion gaining a foothold, the esteem abortion has today required a lot more than the offerings of the radical ’60s. During the Roe years, while pro-lifers chipped away at the Supreme Court decision legally, the pro-abortion side fought a different front: the side of culture. Their success hinged upon one thing: the wholesale adoption of the ideology of feminism. They have been wildly successful. Read more......

Scientific American Article Falsely Claims Pro-Life Laws Hurt Women

A recent Scientific American article echoes the false idea that pro-life laws harm women and that scientific fact backs this up. However, Scientific American's arguments rest on shaky ground — not scientific evidence. The main source of the author's claims is the flawed data of the Turnaway Study, which has been discredited numerous times by Live Action and other reputable organizations. The Turnaway Study, despite its significant flaws, has unduly influenced public discourse on the effects of abortion denial. NC Court Strikes Down Restrictions on In-Home Chemical Abortions

U.S. District Judge Catherine Eagles upheld some protections such as requiring an in-person consultation, examination, and ultrasound before obtaining a prescription for the drugs required for chemical abortions. Massachusetts Launches Effort to Target Pregnancy Resource Centers

The Massachusetts state government this week announced what it billed as a “first-in-the-nation” effort to discredit — and steer pregnant women away from — pregnancy resource centers in the state. The state’s Department of Public Health said in a press release on Monday that it was launching what it described as an “education campaign” to highlight “the dangers and potential harm” of crisis pregnancy centers. Those organizations offer aid and support to pregnant women, particularly women in desperate situations and who may be considering abortion. Read more......

Feds Lower Boom on Six Pro-Lifers

On January 30, a federal jury convicted six defendants of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act). Each of them also received an additional felony conviction for Conspiracy Against Rights. What egregious actions led to the full weight of the federal government being imposed on them? Peacefully protesting at an abortion clinic in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, on March 5, 2021, by preaching the gospel, singing, praying, and attempting to convince mothers of unborn babies to choose life. Abortion Zealots Demand Removal of Pro-Life Flag in Alaska

Several dozen pro-abortion activists marched to Alaska's Governor's Mansion in Juneau to demand that Gov. Mike Dunleavy take down a pro-life flag that he flies next to the U.S. and Alaska flags. Chanting, "Our rights, our choice," the protesters snaked through the State Capital – whooping and screaming as pedestrians looked on. One marcher, dressed in Game of Thrones's styled battle garb, wielded a large metal sword, which she jabbed into the air while joining the cacophony of voices railiing against any effort to protect unborn babies from abortion.
