Exposing the Abortion Pill Drug Cartel

The abortion pill cartel operates using "community partner networks," groups of volunteers who help women in the U.S. order abortion pills from foreign countries and then ship those drugs. These community partner networks encourage women to request abortion pills using secure networks and unhackable email accounts, in order to evade prosecution. One community partner network affiliate, based in Mexico, even told women, "To be on the safe side, you should erase messages and emails about your abortion from your phone." The group even told women that if they suffer bleeding after their chemical abortion, they should visit an emergency room and claim to be experiencing a...

Changing the National Mindset on Abortion

Because of advances in medical technology like ultrasounds, Ryan Anderson said, few are vulnerable to the pro-abortion propaganda of yesteryear, that what's being killed in an abortion is just a clump of cells or potential life. The new mentality, he noted, was candidly articulated by Bill Maher on his television program in April: "They think it's murder. And it kind of is. I'm just okay with that." That's what 50 years of Roe helped to produce. To convert that mindset, and to help create a culture of life, will require a few things, Anderson argued. Read more......

Judgette: Pro-life Group Not Exempt From Abortion Coverage Mandate

A federal judge has rejected a pro-life organization's attempt to secure an order invalidating an Oregon law requiring most employers to include abortion coverage in their employer-sponsored healthcare plans for employees. Judge Ann Aiken of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon ruled against Oregon Right to Life's bid for a preliminary injunction invalidating Oregon's Reproductive Health Equity Act. The judge reasoned that the organization doesn't qualify as a religious employer and doesn't meet the requirements to receive and exemption from the law. Read more......

Only Natural Law Can Revitalize the Pro-Life Cause

Professor Hadley Arkes says natural law, rejected by the elites of the law schools since the end of the 19th century, remains the indispensable keystone for restoring a correct apprehension of life-related ethical issues in the collective conscience — for, ultimately, the one and only question to be asked about abortion, as with IVF, "is not what an embryo looks like at a given moment, but what it is." Abortions Continue to Take Preborn Texans' Lives

With the higher volume of abortion pills flowing into the state, it is difficult to trace their origins and destinations. To stop the flow of these deadly pills, Texas must expand the civil enforcement mechanism of the Texas Heartbeat Act. This will help fully enforce Pro-Life protections against those who aid and abet an abortion against Texas women and children. When every Texan can hold accountable those who violate Pro-Life laws, lives will be saved. Simultaneously, Texas women are traveling to receive abortions in states where it is legal. But they aren't doing it alone — the cities of San Antonio and Austin are striving to spend taxpayer money on abortion travel. Read more......

Pro-Life Laws Aren't Driving Surge in Infant Deaths

Pro-life laws are not driving a surge in infant mortality, a prominent OB-GYN and pro-life advocate said. Rather, some infants with genetic or congenital abnormalities who might otherwise have been aborted are now being born and passing away, said Dr. Ingrid Skop, an obstetrician and the vice president and director of medical affairs at the Charlotte Lozier Institute.
