Pro-Life Videos Required in New Hampshire Schools?

A trio of proposed laws would require public school health educators to show students starting in sixth grade a series of videos created by a pro-life organization that depict abortion procedures and fetal gestation. One of the bills would also institute a new graduation requirement for all public university students in New Hampshire mandating that they view a "gestational development" video in order to receive a college diploma. "These are comprehensive, completely educational, well-done, non-political, non-religious videos," Rep. John Sellers, the prime sponsor of the bills, said. Read more......

Trump Reinstates Pro-Life Protections for Unborn Overseas

US Government funding for abortions overseas has been halted in one of Donald Trump's first acts as President. The Executive Order, signed by the President on 24 January, reversed Biden administration support for organisations that promote or conduct abortions as a method of 'family planning' outside the US. At the same time, Trump also signed an order scrapping the use of taxpayers' money to pay for abortions on demand nationwide and rescinding the recategorisation of the procedure as 'healthcare'. New Pro-Life Laws Have Saved Thousands of Lives

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) released a study on the impact of recently enacted pro-life laws. It analyzed state level fertility data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia from 2012 to 2023. It found that state level abortion bans and heartbeat acts resulted in statistically significant increases in state fertility rates. Overall, it estimates that over 22,000 lives have been saved by recently enacted pro-life laws. Read more......

Pro-Life Movement to Shake Up Messaging With Big Investment

The pro-life movement is set to receive a $30 million boost from a new coalition that wants to redefine the national discourse surrounding abortion after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade nearly three years ago. David Bereit, founder of 40 Days for Life, will lead the newly formed Life Leadership Conference, which will be comprised of a number of pro-life groups. The $30 million Pro-Life Venture Fund will be used to distribute $30 million to member groups that will work toward lowering the abortion rate. The new organization marks the first project to centralize pro-life groups that, as Bereit describes, have been isolated in "silos" for far too long. Read more......

Abortion Scandal Highlights Church's Failure To Speak Up

The UK's pro-life movement is calling on Catholic bishops to speak out more publicly and effectively against a culture that sees women being pressurised by medical staff to have abortions. The move comes after two mothers ended their pregnancies following Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH), one of the UK's largest hospital teaching organisations, mistakenly informing them that their unborn babies had serious genetic conditions. "The Church must accept its own part in this terrible situation, in which clergy and lay faithful have failed to speak up – through fear, discomfort or ignorance," Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, a pro-life advocate and co-director for March for Life UK,...

Indiana Attorney General Fighting 'Lawfare' Attacks

Republican Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita petitioned the state Supreme Court Thursday to stop threats to his law license over his pro-life legal efforts. It's the latest development in years of abortion litigation and advocacy involving Congress, the White House, and ongoing media coverage that began in 2022, when Indiana abortionist Caitlin Bernard disclosed she'd committed an abortion on a 10-year-old rape victim from Ohio. Ever since he announced an investigation into Bernard after her story swiftly gained international attention, Rokita has fought abortion industry lawsuits and ethics challenges from pro-abortion lawyers. Rokita's motion argues Indiana's attorney Discipline...

Supreme Court Rejects Challenge To Buffer Zone Law

The Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge to restrictions that had been placed on pro-life speech and protest activity within 100 feet of an abortion-providing facility. The case arose after the pro-life group Coalition Life challenged a Carbondale, Illinois, ordinance that restricted pro-life sidewalk counseling within 100 feet of an abortion facility. The policy, which was first implemented in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, was repealed by the city as Coalition Life prepared its appeal to the Supreme Court. Both Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito said that they would have heard the challenge. Read more......

Biden DOJ Led 'Systematic Campaign' Against Pro-Lifers

A pro-life attorney alleged during a House hearing that the Biden administration's Department of Justice (DOJ) led a "systematic campaign" against pro-life protesters who were charged with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and sentenced to several years in prison in 2020. "The Biden DOJ engaged in a systematic campaign to abuse the power of the federal government against pro-life advocates, while that same DOJ ignored hundreds of acts of vandalism and violence against pro-life churches, pregnancy help centers, and other advocates," Peter Breen said. New Jersey Governor to Bring Abortionists to State

The New Jersey governor's new budget proposal includes $52 million to fund abortion, reproductive health, and family planning, including a $2 million incentive program designed to bring "reproductive health care providers" to the state. In his remarks for the 2026 budget, Gov. Phil Murphy made clear the initiative was designed to bring abortionists and others from pro-life states. He said the program would attract reproductive health care providers "targeted by politicians elsewhere." Murphy also pledged to stockpile abortion pills. Read more......
