Despite What You May Have Heard, Pro-Life Laws Are Saving Lives

The strongest evidence that pro-life laws work comes not from industry abortion counts but from birth data. Texas first showed increased births after early pro-life protections took effect before Dobbs. Since then, national studies have reinforced the same conclusion. A major study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), authored by researchers generally sympathetic to abortion, found more than 22,000 "excess births" (births "above expectation") in 2023 in states enforcing pro-life protections. Other studies, such as one from the Economic Inquiry, obtained similar results. They showed a 1.6 percent increase in the overall birth rate in states...

New Lozier Study Shows Chemical Abortions Are Largely Unregulated

The Charlotte Lozier Institute released a study by research associate Mia Steupert showing that organizations selling chemical abortion pills online are largely unregulated. Specifically, these organizations often fail to comply with existing laws, FDA regulations, and basic health and safety standards. The study considered entities that provide telehealth abortions through the formal U.S. health-care system. The study also considered overseas and online entities that sell abortion pills. SPLC 'Hate List': Christian Pro-Life Groups On, Antifa Off

Southern Poverty Law Center's Interim CEO Bryan Fair testified before Congress, attempting to answer a myriad of lawmaker's questions, including charges the Alabama-based group helped fund the very hate they claimed to be fighting. Alliance Defending Freedom's (ADF) Ryan Bangert was blunt in characterizing the SPLC's ideological bullying techniques, including its dangerous "hate list." "It makes sense when you understand today's SPLC as a political hit operation," he told the committee. "The SPLC has branded ADF and others like us as hate groups solely because it disagrees with our work, grounded in our religious convictions." Read more......

A Rare Bipartisan Opportunity to Protect Unborn Lives

Americans United for Life and Democrats for Life of America, both endorsed the bipartisan Supporting Healthy Moms and Babies Act, designed to make private insurance companies eliminate out-of-pocket costs for prenatal care and childbirth and provide postpartum medical care for up to a year after a child's birth. Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) and Tim Kaine (D-Va.), who support legal abortion, joined with pro-life senators Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Ms.) in sponsoring the legislation. Despite bipartisan support, the Supporting Healthy Moms and Babies Act failed to get out of committee last summer. Congress has shown little interest in it since. Read more......

Moral Acceptance of Abortion Falls 5 Points

A new Gallup survey shows that the moral acceptance of abortion has dropped five points since 2024. The new data is encouraging because it suggests the trend towards moral acceptance of abortion following Roe's reversal is finally waning. Since 2001, Gallup has conducted an annual poll, Values and Beliefs. The poll addressed a variety of issues, including abortion, gender, homosexuality, doctor-assisted suicide, pornography, divorce, gambling, polygamy, affairs, cloning and animal testing. According to Gallup's latest survey, conducted in May of this year, only 49 percent of Americans say abortion is morally acceptable — that's a five-point decline from just two years ago. US Supreme Court Turns Away Free Speech Claim by Pro-Life Student

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a former high school student's free-speech challenge to an Indiana public school district's policy that barred her from displaying a flyer with an anti-abortion message on school walls. The justices turned away the former student's appeal of a lower court's decision that the Noblesville Schools district's policy did not violate the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment protections against government abridgment of freedom of speech. Justice Samuel Alito dissented from the court's decision denying the appeal. Read more...  ...

Speaker of the Wyoming State House Chip Neiman blasted a decision by District Judge Thomas T.C. Campbell that struck three pro-life laws passed overwhelmingly in the 2025 session. The three life-affirming laws beaten back by Judge Campbell included requiring: abortion clinics to be licensed as ambulatory surgical centers; ultrasounds and a 48-hour waiting period before a woman can have abortion; and strict limitation on how abortion-inducing medications could be prescribed or used. Prolife Alberta Denies Its Ad Violated Advertising Standards Code

Canada's advertising industry watchdog says an online ad decrying Canada's "pro-death culture" breached its ad standards code, and played upon fears to mislead viewers. The advertisement shows an image of the Grim Reaper holding a scythe on a dark field under an overcast sky with text asking, "HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH OF CANADA'S PRO-DEATH CULTURE? YES!" Prolife Alberta executive director Richard Dur said, "Prolife Alberta will continue to speak plainly about these issues, whether or not an over-eager private regulator imagines it has the authority to police political expression." Poll Finds Most Americans Prioritize Women's Safety Over Abortion Pill Access

A new YouGov poll commissioned by Americans United for Life (AUL) reveals strong public support for prioritizing patient safety in the regulation of the abortion drug mifepristone over how easily it can be accessed. According to the survey of 1,000 adults, 68 percent of Americans say patient safety should take precedence over ease of access when it comes to the mifepristone, the primary drug used in chemical abortions. Additionally, 86 percent support requiring informed consent before prescribing mifepristone. And only four in 10 Americans believe it should be legal to ship the abortion pill across state lines, which includes states with pro-life laws. Read more......

330,000 Abortion Pills Sent to Pro-Life States, Report Says

A pro-life group has released a new report marking the anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade, finding that nearly 330,000 abortion pills have been shipped to states with abortion restrictions since the summer of 2023 under the protection of blue state shield laws, which the report says enabled abortion numbers in several conservative states to remain at or above pre-Dobbs levels. In the report by the Restoration of America Foundation (ROAF) said more than 328,000 abortion pills have been sent into states with abortion restrictions from out-of-state between July 2023 and December 2025. Delaware Agrees to Stop Enforcing Law Targeting Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers

The state of Delaware has agreed to stop enforcing a law requiring pro-life pregnancy centers to inform visitors that they do not have licensed medical professionals on staff amid legal victories for similar centers in other states. The legal nonprofit organization Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) announced that the state has agreed to permanently stop enforcing Senate Bill 300. This development comes more than a year after ADF and the law firm Simms Showers secured a temporary agreement on behalf of National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA), a national network of pro-life pregnancy centers, and the Delaware-based pro-life pregnancy center A Door of Hope.
