Few studies have sought to understand men and their experiences with unexpected pregnancies. Since research shows the father of the child is often the most significant influencer in a woman’s decision to choose abortion, we wanted to better understand the emotional dynamics behind men’s perceptions of abortion. What makes them want to support abortion or choose life? Read more... ...

The regional affiliate of the national abortion giant on Thursday filed a lawsuit challenging two pro-life laws in Wisconsin that it says violates women's rights to personal liberty and bodily autonomy. The case calls unconstitutional the requirement for women to wait 24 hours to receive an abortion following an in-person appointment, as well as the requirement that only licensed physicians may provide abortions. A Washington state church hit a dead end in its quest to exclude abortion coverage from its employee insurance plans, after a Ninth Circuit panel determined that the challenged state laws don't specifically target religious conduct. The Cedar Park Assembly of God of Kirkland — a Christian church that provides health insurance to about 140 people on its staff — believes abortion is sinful. It sued the state in 2019, arguing the Washington Parity Act violated the First Amendment and calling it "the kind of deliberate religious persecution that our country was founded to prevent." The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Washington can keep requiring health plans covering maternity care to also cover abortion, ending, for now, a six-year constitutional challenge brought by Cedar Park Assembly of God in Kirkland. Cedar Park argued that leaves it facilitating abortion no matter what it does. Read more......

The administration has taken 27 distinct and significant pro-life actions since January 2025. I won’t list them all again here, as I did in that debate, but they include the sort of things pro-lifers would expect from any Republican president, like applying Hyde restrictions on abortion fundingto domestic federal spending and the “Mexico City policy,” which similarly restricts spending on abortion when it comes to foreign funds. Still, pro-life activists are unsatisfied. Read more......

Students for Life of America, a leading pro-life advocacy group, released a letter announcing its intent to sue the U.S. Food and Drug Administration over alleged Endangered Species Act violations tied to pharmaceutical waste from the chemical abortion pill mifepristone. In July, the group announced a peer-reviewed study that found significant levels of mifepristone in all but 1 of 9 sampling classes of water collected in three U.S. cities, including some tap water. Midterm elections will take place in November. In addition to electing state and federal representatives and senators, abortion-related initiatives will be on the ballot in four states. These states are Idaho, Missouri, Nevada, and Virginia. These ballot initiatives will decide if preborn children are protected from abortion, or if they can legally be killed. The decision voters make in November will decide the fates of countless preborn children in four states, for years to come. Read more......
