Lawmakers Call for Studying Environmental Impact of Abortion Pill
Lawmakers are calling for the Biden administration to embark on a study of the environmental impact of abortion medications, given the increasingly widespread use of the abortion pill. In a letter to the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rep. Josh Brecheen, R-Okla., and others highlighted concern about the impact of the abortion drug mifepristone on the water. Mifepristone is the first of two drugs taken to induce a chemical abortion.
