Federal Court Lifts Colorado Ban On Abortion Pill Reversals
A federal court in Colorado ruled in favor of a Catholic health care clinic, Bella Health and Wellness, to allow to them to continue offering abortion pill reversal services. This ruling in Bella Health and Wellness v. Weiser comes after Colorado passed legislation “making it unprofessional conduct to offer women progesterone when seeking to reverse the effects of the first abortion pill.” Bella asked for this law that prevented this treatment for women and their preborn children to be blocked, and the law was put on hold from going into effect “until three state boards weighed in on the safety of abortion pill reversal.” Read more...
