Pro-Life Group Wants to Intervene in Minnesota Abortion Case

A group called MOMS — Mothers Offering Maternal Support — is asking the court for permission to intervene in the case, after a Ramsey County judge struck down Minnesota's parental notification and other anti-abortion laws and Attorney General Keith Ellison decided *not* to appeal. The pro-life group's attorney, Teresa Collett says there's clear legal precedent that parents have a constitutional right to direct their minor children's health care, and "As the court opinion itself indicates, the attorney general provided inadequate representation of parents' rights."
